At the Elgin, IL Mayor’s Awards for Preservation hosted by the Elgin Heritage Commission, Preservation of Affordable Housing was named a 2023 Mayor’s Award Recipient for their extensive investment and rehabilitation of the Abby C. Wing School located at 260 Center Street.
Originally built in 1899, the renovated 3-story structure provides 27 units of affordable housing in Elgin, IL.
