Renew Woodlawn

POAH has forged a dynamic partnership with local nonprofits specializing in affordable housing to create an innovative program to help qualified buyers purchase and renovate new homes in Woodlawn. The Renew Woodlawn Homeownership Program offers grants and down-payment assistance to help make buying a home affordable for more people. It’s focused on the area bounded by 60th St. on the north, 67th St. on the south, King Drive on the west, and Stony Island Ave. on the east.

The program is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the National Foreclosure Settlement Awards and the City of Chicago.

POAH’s partners include the City of Chicago Department of Planning and Development, Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago Inc., and the Community Investment Corporation.
